Feeling a lot better, partly due to supportive commentating by ekesan moppat, whoever he is, thanks, mopp :-) and partly due to finding self four days along the line without any adolescant rages coming in my direction. Could sleep for a few weeks though. This is because being disorganised, to the degree that I am disorganised is utterly exhausting. I need a housekeeper, a personal assistant, and some kind of catapult that shoots me out of sleep in the morning by 6 or 6.30 and a nasty natured miniature terrier to nip at my heels til I've run away from it for a mile each day before breakfast. Rather than the cuddling, licking fur cushion that in fact lives with us.
Anyhoo, re 17yr old daughter life's been rewardingly friendly as said for four days now, it's weird, hasn't happened for years I don't think, darenb't mention it in case I break the spell

I am glad to hear that my words have had a continuing effect. I am nervous of offering my own words of encouragement rather than hoping that I am delivering other people's, and your feedback is much appreciated. I shall print them out and stick them up in my little van as I go about my work in the morning. And you've guessed my favourite nickname - more apt than you may realize given that you have no idea who I am. I would like to to offer to kidnap some of the terriers I know only too well for you, but it might place my continued employment in some jeopardy.

After returning from a long and rather gruelling journey over the month since I last contributed to either of your blogs, I am glad to hear that you are feeling more positive after the difficult time you have reported here. I am glad to see that Mr Moppatt can be relied on in my absence. Not much has happened here during my absence. Our attempts to set up a hat making department have still not made much progress due to difficulty findings suitable eccentric tutors. I was hoping that my last comment of 16 April might prompt some volunteers from your hat conscious readers, but perhaps I should not have buried the comment under the 'Public and Important Announcement...' posting of March in 'Amazing Lives...'. I hope to comment further there shortly.
